Nika Island Resort & Spa welcomes back Mahmoud Elkhouly as Assistant Director of Sales & Marketing

Nika Island Resort & Spa has announced the recent appointment of Mahmoud Elkhouly to the role of Assistant Director of Sales. This marks a significant return for Elkhouly, who previously contributed his expertise to Nika Island Resort & Spa as Sales & Marketing Manager from November 2014 to February 2017.

With a rich background in the hospitality industry, Mahmoud Elkhouly brings a wealth of knowledge in sales and marketing, honed by his extensive experience with several high-profile resorts in the Maldives. His career in the resort industry includes pivotal roles as Sales Manager at Kandima Maldives Resort, Jade Mountain Resort in the Caribbean, Mövenpick Resort Kuredhivaru, and Amari Havodda Maldives.

Mahmoud’s journey in hospitality sales began in Egypt, where he served as Reservations Sales Agent at Sonesta Beach Resort before moving up to Reservations Supervisor at Ayada Maldives Resort & Spa.

Upon his return to Nika Island Resort & Spa, Mahmoud expressed a heartfelt sentiment, stating, “It feels like coming home after a few years away, as Nika has always been in my heart.” His familiarity with the resort and its unique offerings is expected to provide an invaluable perspective in his new role.
