One&Only Reethi Rah appoints Michal Zemlicka as Executive Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage

One&Only Reethi Rah has appointed Michal Zemlicka as Executive Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage, as part of its ongoing focus on strengthening operational leadership and service delivery.

In his new role, Zemlicka will support resort management and ownership in an advisory capacity, while leading food and beverage concept development, strategic initiatives and revenue optimisation efforts.

Zemlicka joined the resort in November 2023 as Director of Food and Beverage. During his tenure, he has overseen enhancements across the resort’s dining operations, with a focus on team development, guest satisfaction and service standards. He has also led a programme of events and collaborations, including partnerships with Michelin-starred chefs and mixologists associated with The World’s 50 Best Bars.

He played a key role in the development and reopening of TAPASAKE, the resort’s overwater Japanese-Mediterranean restaurant. His work has also contributed to improvements in operational performance and guest experience across the resort’s dining outlets, while supporting the positioning of seasonal events such as Easter and festive programmes. Zemlicka has also maintained a focus on achieving brand standards, including targets related to Leading Quality Assurance (LQA).

With over a decade of experience in hospitality, Zemlicka has previously worked at Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa and Furaveri Maldives, as well as in destinations including Bali, Dubai, Australia and Slovakia.

The appointment reflects the resort’s approach to developing internal talent and strengthening its food and beverage offering within a competitive luxury hospitality market.

One&Only Reethi Rah is located on a 44-hectare island and features 118 beach and overwater villas. The resort offers a range of dining venues, including Botanica, which focuses on garden-based cuisine, alongside multiple restaurants and bars delivering a variety of international dining experiences.
