One&Only Reethi Rah, the ultra-luxury resort, has promoted Mohamed Ayaaz to Assistant Director, Food & Beverage, reinforcing the resort’s dedication to delivering authentic and unrivalled dining experiences through local talent development, creativity, and operational excellence.
In his previous role as Manager, F&B, Ayaaz has led the team with strong operational discipline, passion for Maldivian hospitality, and a commitment to guest satisfaction. Through a strategic mindset and meticulous eye for detail, his efforts have contributed to the enhancement of the overall guest experience, resulting in impressive scores in recent LQA and Forbes Travel Guide audits. Ayaaz has also been fundamental in the seamless execution of the resort’s Festive and Easter celebrations along with driving successful pop-ups and collaborations with celebrity chefs and world-class mixologists.
Ayaaz steps into his new role with almost two decades of hospitality experience in the Maldives, growing as an F&B hotelier at One&Only Reethi Rah between 2013 and 2021, before driving F&B operations at Patina Maldives between 2021 and 2023.
As Assistant Director, Food & Beverage, Ayaaz’s appointment reflects the resort’s dedication to developing the next generation of Maldivian talent. Deeply committed to his team, Ayaaz’s leadership approach strengthens capabilities within his team and prepares local talent to take on future leadership roles.
In his new role, Ayaaz will assist Michal Zemlicka, recently appointed as Executive Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage, to oversee and ensure the profitable operations of all F&B outlets and dining experiences across the resort.
