One&Only Reethi Rah Unveils Easter Events Programme

The One&Only Reethi Rah has unveiled a jam-packed programme of easter activities that promise to deliver fun for all the family.

Between 10 to 19 April, the resort has planned an array of sports, wellness, and kids’ events. The highlight of the calendar is the Easter White Party, a beachside Easter cocktail and gala dinner, and traditional activities such as an Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Brunch.

The activities begin with the chance to channel your inner calm with some yoga activities H2O YOGA on 10 April from 9 am at the Rah Bar lap pool and Power Yoga on 11 April from 11am at The One&Only Spa. Kids can join a pirate Bunny Cruise from 3pm the same day. Children of all ages are invited to climb aboard an exciting pirate cruise on the Indian Ocean and have an early visit from the Easter Bunny.

There will be a badminton tournament on 11 April from 4pm at Club One. Singles and doubles games accompanied by snacks. Alternatively choose a spinning class from 4.15 pm and 5.45 pm or the circuit training on 11 April from 5 pm to 6.30 pm, both at the Fitness Centre to the beats of a DJ under flashing lights. This will get you in the mood for the White Party from 9pm at the Beach Club.

Start the day with Sunrise Yoga on 12 April from 6.45am on Fitness Raw Beach against the backdrop of the rising sun, then get energised by a volleyball match from 4pm on the volleyball court.

On 13 April it’s game, set and match as you join the Easter Tennis Open from 4pm at the Tennis Club.

On 14 April Pepper Dots will be making key chains and toys at 9am outside NEO Lifestyle.  Here you can meet the mother-daughter duo behind Pepper Dots, a boutique showcasing 100 percent handmade and local crafts inspired by the Maldives’ marine life, perfect for souvenirs. Then join Family Spa Time from 11am at the One&Only Spa where mum, dad, brother and sister can have ESPA hair masks, body scrubs and face masks followed by a serene session of meditation in the gardens. The fun doesn’t end there. Join in the champagne shopping event on 14 April from 4pm at NEO and Yana Boutiques where you can shop till you drop while sipping sparkling Champagne. Later that afternoon, join the Family Games Event from 4pm on the football pitch as the DJ spins the decks. This will set the scene for the Welcome to Easter event at The Lawn Club from 7pm, where more bubbles, canapés, and live entertainment are on offer to ring in the Easter festivities underneath the stars.

The next morning, rise and shine for the Reethi Island Triathlon on 15 April from 8am at Fitness Raw Beach where contestants will compete with the backdrop of the Indian Ocean and swaying palm trees. Later that afternoon the kids can get stuck into Easter Egg Making from 3pm making delicious chocolatey creations alongside the resort’s chefs. There will be the time to take handmade chocolate delights home to share with your family. After all that fun, it will be time to kick a ball around. A kid’s soccer match will take place at the football pitch.

The next day, 16 April, it will be the turn of adults at 5 pm on the football pitch, just after the Easter Egg Colouring on 16 April from 2pm for kids – where they can create hand-painted creations for the whole family. That evening, adults are invited to an Easter Cocktail event from 7pm at Sunrise Beach whwee they can enjoy flowing drinks and live entertainment to set you up for the grand Easter Gala Dinner from 8pm on Sunrise Beach that is full of culinary delights.

The annual Easter Egg Hunt takes place on Easter Sunday, 17 April, from 11.30 am at The Lawn Club where kids can search for sweet surprises with the Easter Bunny at the Lawn Club. From 1pm enjoy Easter Brunch at the Rah Bar presenting an epicurean feast.  Indulge in freshly caught seafood, sizzling barbecues, crisp salads and delightful desserts.  Sip on bubbling Champagne and toast to perfect memories with family and friends alongside live music and the cerulean views of the Indian Ocean.

Leap into the sparkling Indian Ocean for a swimming challenge for all the family on 17 April at 4pm at the Water Sports Centre invited to come in swim gear and make their way through different checkpoints and challenges in the water.

Football Camp on 18 April from 9am with Boris Tatar for five years old to 18 years old, followed by Ultimate Frisbee at 4pm – both on the football pitch.
