Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort Wins ‘Luxury Contemporary Resort of the Year’ Award

The Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort has won “Luxury Contemporary Resort of the Year,” at The Luxury Travel Guide Global Awards 2015.

Of the Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort, the award judges said, “The Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort creates once-in-a-lifetime adventure and exploration opportunities, sprawling villas of unrivalled comfort, style and amenities, world-class cuisine and indulgent, exotic spa treatments. This modern no-holds-barred focus on creating an all-encompassing resort to please every potential guest, made it the obvious winner for Luxury Contemporary Resort of the Year.”

Outrigger opened the newly acquired resort on 1 August after an extensive refurbishment. Surrounded by turquoise waters and a pristine coral reef and beach, the property features 53 garden and over-waterpool villas comprising the largest average villa sizes in the Maldives.
