Race kit collection begins for Dhiraagu Malé Open 2026
Excitement is building for the Dhiraagu Malé Open 2026, open water swimming competition, with race kit collection set to begin today, 18 August at Dhiraagu Head Office.
Registered participants can collect their race kits from Dhiraagu Head Office at the DMO Expo from 18 to 20 August 2026, between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM. Each race kit will include the tournament’s official T-shirt and swim cap.
The Dhiraagu Malé Open Swimming Competition 2026 will take place on 21 and 22 August at Rasfannu, Malé. Organised by Swim Maldives, the competition aims to promote open water swimming, encourage greater participation in the sport and raise awareness of the importance of protecting the Maldives’ marine environment.
Swimmers will take to the open water across 1km, 500m and 250m race categories. Adding to the excitement this year is the introduction of a new 500m Team Relay, creating another opportunity for friends, families and swimming clubs to come together and compete as a team.
