Sheraton Maldives makes history as champions of Full Moon Futsal Cup 2025

Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa is celebrating a historic moment as Team Sheraton clinches the title of Full Moon Futsal Cup Champions 2025—marking the first time the resort’s associate team reached the finals and emerged victorious.

The third season of the Full Moon Futsal Cup kicked off on March 5, 2025, bringing together 10 teams from neighboring resorts across Malé Atoll. Over two weeks of intense competition, teams showcased their skill, teamwork, and unwavering determination, setting the stage for an electrifying finale.

The championship match on March 19, 2025, saw Team Sheraton go head-to-head against last year’s winners, SO/ Maldives, in a thrilling showdown. In a game that kept spectators on the edge of their seats, Team Sheraton delivered a stellar performance, securing a hard-fought victory and etching their name in the tournament’s history as first-time champions.

Following the final whistle, Greg Allan, General Manager of Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa, officiated the closing ceremony, presenting the championship trophy and gold medals to the winning team. Special awards and certificates were also given in recognition of the tournament’s standout performances.
