Sheraton Maldives to host 3rd edition of Full Moon Futsal Cup

Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa has announced the 3rd edition of the Full Moon Futsal Cup, a community-driven futsal tournament designed to strengthen friendships, foster solidarity, and enhance community engagement among neighbouring resorts in the Maldives.

As Sheraton Maldives continues to prioritise community connection, the Full Moon Futsal Cup reflects the resort’s commitment to building bonds within the local community, believing in the collective energy that unites us all. With 10 enthusiastic teams participating this season, the tournament will create an electrifying atmosphere that encourages teamwork and togetherness.

“Our aim with the Full Moon Futsal Cup is to promote a sense of camaraderie and collaboration among the associates of neighbouring resorts,” said Greg Allan, General Manager of Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa. “Sporting events like these have the unique ability to unite individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering relationships that go beyond the pitch.”

The action-packed tournament will kick off on March 5, 2025, and will span two weeks of exciting futsal matches. Spectators and participants alike can expect to witness friendly competition as players showcase their skills and sportsmanship. The event will culminate in the highly anticipated final on March 19, where the two top-performing teams will battle it out for the Full Moon Futsal Cup trophy.
