SO/ Maldives appoints Olivier Moies-Delval as new General Manager

SO/ Maldives has announced the appointment of Olivier Moies-Delval as the resort’s new General Manager. With over 30 years of global experience in luxury hospitality, strategic development, and operations management, Moies-Delval is widely recognised for his innovative approach to enhancing guest satisfaction and driving business success.

Moies-Delval has served as a General Manager for multiple Accor properties over the past two decades, demonstrating a strong commitment to continuous improvement and effective team leadership. In his most recent role at Mövenpick Resort Waverly Phu Quoc in Vietnam—the country’s largest Accor property covering 52 hectares—he significantly improved operational efficiency, reinforced brand identity, and elevated the overall guest experience, helping the resort earn a reputation as a top luxury destination in the region.

His extensive international background includes roles in Belgium, France, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Vietnam, where he consistently adapted to new environments, built cohesive teams, and maintained a strong focus on customer-centric service. Moies-Delval brings this expertise to SO/ Maldives with the goal of turning every guest stay into a fashion-forward, luxurious, and immersive experience.
