Sun Siyam Iru Fushi unites for Cancer Awareness with special events

In honour of World Cancer Day, Sun Siyam Iru Fushi hosted events on February 3 and 4, 2025, under the theme ‘United by Unique,’ aiming to raise awareness in the fight against cancer. The events featured a Cancer Awareness session, a High Tea for Awareness, and a Pilates for Wellness, all designed to promote unity and healthy living.

On February 3, students from N. Holhudhoo School attended the Cancer Awareness event, which was led by Dr. Kalyan Adhikari, the resort doctor. The event included an informative presentation and interactive discussions focused on early cancer detection and prevention strategies. Participants received inspiring messages from the management team, enjoyed refreshments, and toured the resort.

As part of the Sun Siyam Cares initiative, welcoming local students plays a key role in fostering community engagement and promoting health awareness. By engaging with experts, students gain valuable knowledge to share with their families, while the resort tour instills a sense of pride and responsibility for their local environment.

The events continued on February 4 with a High Tea for Awareness, followed by a Pilates session led by a wellness expert, emphasising mindfulness and well-being. These gatherings encouraged guests to unite in promoting cancer awareness, supporting one another, and strengthening the community’s commitment to the cause.
