Tentative Schedule for Maldives Resort Reopenings (Update)
The Maldives Ministry of Tourism has published a tentative schedule of resort reopenings. A note that accompanies the list says that the properties themselves proposed the dates. While 8 resorts – with a total of 683 rooms and 1386 beds – are listed as already operational, others are listed as opening on various dates in July, August, September, October 2020, etc. Some are scheduled to open in 2021 while some properties are listed as not having finalised a reopening date.
