The BeKind promotes Jumana Muhammad to Resident Manager at Fushifaru Maldives
Maldives-based hospitality group, The BeKind, has announced the promotion of Jumana Muhammad to the position of Resident Manager at Fushifaru Maldives, marking a key milestone in her hospitality career and within the group’s leadership team.
Jumana was most recently serving as Director of Operations at Fushifaru Maldives, a role she held from August 2023 to January 2026, following her tenure as Assistant Director of Operations. Her appointment reflects her progression within the resort’s operational leadership and her long-term contribution to the property’s management and guest experience .
A hospitality professional with more than a decade of industry experience, Jumana has built her career across a range of operational and guest-facing roles within leading resorts and hotels in the Maldives. Her experience includes senior front office and guest relations positions at Fushifaru Maldives, Cocoon Maldives, The Somerset Hotel, and Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, as well as an earlier role in human resources with Centara Hotels & Resorts. She began her career in customer service roles before progressing into resort operations and leadership .
Jumana holds a secondary education background from Villa International High School and the Centre for Higher Secondary Education, and is fluent in both English and Dhivehi. Her professional skill set spans resort operations, hospitality management, and administrative systems, supporting her transition into senior leadership .
In her new role as Resident Manager, Jumana will oversee daily resort operations at Fushifaru Maldives, working closely with department heads to maintain service standards, operational consistency, and team development.
The BeKind, which also owns and operates Meyyafushi Maldives, said the promotion underlines its commitment to recognising internal talent and strengthening Maldivian leadership within its hospitality portfolio.
