The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort has announced the recent appointments of Teges Triguna as the new Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications and Hussain Fairooz as Sales Manager – DMC, GCC & INDIA. These strategic additions to the commercial team underscore the resort’s commitment to excellence in expanding their market presence and driving business growth.
Teges Triguna brings a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry, coupled with a fervent passion for marketing that promises to elevate the resort’s strategies across PR, digital platforms, and social media. Prior to joining The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort, Teges served as the Marketing Communications Manager at Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa, where he was responsible for completing marketing plans for the property, managing digital campaigns, and coordinating information for all publications and property imaging. Having started and nurtured his career at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, Teges is no stranger to the Westin brand, making this appointment a heartwarming return to the Westin family for him.
Complementing the team, Hussain Fairooz steps in as Sales Manager, renowned for his ability to drive revenue growth and expand market presence in competitive sectors. As a native Maldivian, Fairooz brings invaluable insight and expertise, overseeing Maldives’ Destination Management Companies, as well as the Middle East and Indian markets. Outside of his professional endeavours, Fairooz is an outgoing person who enjoys dancing along to Boduberu. During his free time, he goes to karaoke and maintains his fitness at the gym.
