Travel Trade Maldives Opens Nominations for TTM Awards 2024

Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) has opened nominations for TTM Awards 2024. This year, Travel Trade Maldives unveiled an expanded array of award categories, including two new additions, bringing the total to 24 exciting awards, to reward and celebrate excellence in the Maldives’ travel and tourism hospitality industry.

The award categories for TTM Awards 2024 consist of:

• Top Producers
• Best Beach Resorts (2 resorts)
• Best Wellness Resorts (2 resorts)
• Best Honeymoon Destinations (2 destinations)
• Best MICE Destination (1 destination)
• Best Wedding Destination (1 destination)
• Best Family Resorts (2 resorts)
• Best Boutique Resort (1 resort)
• Best Design Hotel (1 resort)
• Best Culinary Resorts (2 resorts)
• Best City Hotel (1 hotel)
• Best Fun & Friendly Resorts (2 resorts)
• Best Emerging Resort (1 resort)
• Most Innovative Resort (1 resort)
• Most Sustainable Resorts (2 resorts)
• Most Picturesque Resorts (2 resorts)
• Best Private Island (1 resort)
• Best Dive Resorts (2 resorts)
• Best Surf Resorts (2 resorts)
• Best Content Creator (1 resort)
• Best Adults-Only Resorts (2 resorts) 
• Best All-Inclusive Resorts (2 resorts) 
• Best Beach Villa Resorts (2 resorts) 
• Best Water Villa Resorts (2 resorts) 

Only TTM Partners will be eligible to apply for the awards, and resorts can apply to a maximum of 3 categories if they fit the criteria. 

Award winners will be selected through a voting process. The voting process will consist of 30% votes from the TTM editorial team, 30% from travel trade professionals registered on TTM Connect, and 40% votes taken from the public for all the categories except for the top producer’s award. Top producer’s award winners will consist of 100% votes from travel trade professionals from resorts.

TTM Maldives 2024 is scheduled to take place from 21st – 22nd August 2024, and the Awards and Gala Night will be held on 22nd August 2024 at Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi. 

The deadline for the award nomination is 15th April 2024.
