Villa Haven strengthens leadership team with key appointments ahead of November opening

Villa Haven has announced new appointments to strengthen its leadership team, welcoming Ahmed Sinan as Director of Human Resources, Hamzath Abdulla as Director of Food & Beverage, Parana Vithanage Nishantha as Director of Culinary, Mohamed Hussain as Executive Housekeeper, and Shahid Ibrahim as Guest Service Manager.

These strategic hires align with Villa Resorts’ ambitious entry into a new market with Villa Haven, as the resort aims to set new benchmarks in luxury hospitality. Each leader brings extensive experience and a unified dedication to providing exceptional service and creating unforgettable experiences for guests.

Ahmed Sinan, Director of Human Resources

Ahmed Sinan joins Villa Haven with rich experience from previous roles at Villa Nautica and Six Senses Laamu. His expertise in talent management will be essential in fostering a motivated, high-performing team that upholds the resort’s standards of excellence.

Hamzath Abdulla, Director of Food & Beverage

Hamzath Abdulla steps in as Director of Food & Beverage, bringing over a decade of experience in luxury brands such as Raffles Maldives, One & Only, Anantara, and Four Seasons in New Hampshire. He aims to elevate Villa Haven’s dining experience by crafting exceptional menus and leading a team focused on guest satisfaction.

Parana Vithanage Nishantha, Director of Culinary

With over 40 years of culinary expertise, Parana Vithanage Nishantha will guide the resort’s culinary direction. Having led award-winning teams at Ritz Carlton, One & Only Reethi Rah, and Huvafen Fushi, Nishantha is committed to delivering unique dining experiences that highlight local ingredients and flavours.

Mohamed Hussain, Executive Housekeeper

Bringing two decades of luxury hospitality experience from St. Regis Maldives and W Maldives, Mohamed Hussain takes on the role of Executive Housekeeper. His eye for detail and commitment to high standards will ensure that all accommodations meet Villa Haven’s luxury criteria.

Shahid Ibrahim, Guest Service Manager

With a strong background in enhancing guest experiences at Fairmont Maldives and Viceroy Maldives, Shahid Ibrahim will create a warm and welcoming environment as Guest Service Manager, ensuring each guest’s stay is memorable.

Together, this leadership team is set to drive Villa Haven’s vision of luxury excellence, ready to establish high standards in the marketplace. Villa Haven, opening this November, will offer 73 stunning sea-facing villas and residences, each with private pools, providing a secluded island experience. The resort will showcase the beauty of the Maldivian landscape through sustainable design and local craftsmanship, offering guests a distinct and unforgettable stay.
