Visit Maldives concludes Superyacht Promotion Campaign

Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC) has concluded its inaugural Superyacht Promotion Campaign, marked by participation in two international yachting events, the MYBA Charter Show and the Monaco Yacht Show.

Launched in late 2025, the campaign was designed to position the Maldives within the global luxury yacht tourism segment, targeting high-net-worth individuals, yacht owners, charter brokers and industry stakeholders.

As part of the campaign, Visit Maldives conducted on-ground activations at both events, promoting the destination’s superyacht offering through targeted engagement with industry professionals. Promotional materials, including a dedicated brochure and branded assets, were distributed directly to stakeholders and onboard vessels, enabling direct interaction with decision-makers in the yachting sector.

The campaign also included a digital component under the theme “Superyacht Destination Maldives”, supported by a dedicated content platform, social media outreach and direct marketing to yacht captains and brokers. The combined approach of physical participation and digital promotion aimed to increase international visibility.

Visit Maldives also participated in industry initiatives such as the Superyacht Spice Route platform, aimed at strengthening the Maldives’ presence along established maritime routes and increasing awareness among global yachting networks.

According to Visit Maldives, campaign performance tracking across digital channels and industry engagement indicated increased reach, enquiries and stakeholder interest following participation in the MYBA Charter Show and Monaco Yacht Show.

Ibrahim Shiuree, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Visit Maldives Corporation, stated that participation in international platforms such as the MYBA Charter Show and Monaco Yacht Show has contributed to strengthening the Maldives’ position within the global superyacht market and enabled direct engagement with industry stakeholders.

Visit Maldives stated that it will continue to expand its presence at international yacht shows and strengthen partnerships within the sector as part of its broader strategy to diversify tourism offerings and attract higher-value visitor segments to the Maldives.
