Voting for Hotelier Maldives Awards 2024 ends with over 100,000

Hotelier Maldives, the premier publication for hospitality professionals in the Maldives, has officially closed the voting for its much-anticipated Hotelier Maldives Awards 2024 with over 104,000 votes for the shortlisted nominees. The awards, which are presented by Bestbuy Maldives (BBM), saw the voting process commence on March 27 through a dedicated website, drawing to a close on April 16.

The awards have garnered significant attention within the industry, with a diverse range of categories designed to recognise the exceptional talent and dedication of individuals across various sectors of hospitality. From housekeeping and engineering to food and beverage, spa and wellness, and sales and marketing, the awards aim to highlight the contributions of those who often work behind the scenes to ensure the success of their establishments.

“The participation we’ve seen this year is a testament to the vibrant community we have here in the Maldives’ hospitality sector. It’s heartening to see such active involvement from industry professionals in recognising their peers,” Ibrahim Mahudhee, Director of Hotelier Maldives, said.

In addition to BBM, which serves as the Title Sponsor, partners for the event include Ooredoo Maldives, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), Alia Investments, Fuel Express, Metalsigns, Print Lab Creative, Coca-Cola Maldives, Event Maldives, and Ikebana Maldives.

The Hotelier Maldives Awards 2024, presented by BBM, have been a focal point for celebrating the hard work and achievements of hotel employees. The winners, selected through a combination of public votes and evaluations by a panel of esteemed judges, will be announced at a gala ceremony to be held at Kurumba Maldives resort on April 25, 2024.
