Virgin Atlantic Resumes Seasonal Flights to Maldives October 2023
Virgin Atlantic will begin seasonal flights to Maldives three times a week from October 22, 2023.
The airline will fly direct from London Heathrow to Velana International Airport on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Return flights from Maldives to London will commence on October 25, 2023 and fly on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. The flight time is 10 to 11 hours.
The United Kingdom is Maldives third largest source market with over 74.500 arrivals this year.
Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin Group tweeted about the seasonal route on Friday.
