Saudi low-cost airline Flynas begins Maldives flights

Flynas, Saudi Arabia’s low-cost airline, on Tuesday began flights to Maldives from Riyadh.

The maiden flight of Flynas landed at the Maldives’ main Velana International Airport Tuesday morning, and was greeted with a water salute.

The new route will depart from King Khalid International Airport three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 12:05am local time. The flights will arrive at Velana International Airport at 8am local time. The return flight departs from Velana International Airport at 9:05am local time and lands in Riyadh at 1pm local time three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Saudia, the national airline of Suadi Arabia, currently operates flights to Maldives twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.
