MAHRP to host HR Excellence Awards 2023 on July 24

The Maldives Association for HR Professionals (MAHRP) has announced that the MAHRP HR Excellence Awards 2023 will be held on July 24th.

The event, based on the applications and processes shared by MAHRP in 2023, will take place at the Villa College QI Campus.

This year’s awards will feature three Individual Awards and seven Organizational Awards, covering People Development, Innovation and Excellence, Wellness and Well-Being, Organizational Culture, Technology, and Growth.

President of MAHRP, Ahmed Ibrahim, expressed his pleasure at seeing the vision of recognising the HR profession come to light.

“We are thrilled to share the first recognition for leaders and organisations constantly stepping up to lead the profession of human capital development across the nation,” he said. “MAHRP will continue this award every two years, and we believe this will encourage organisations to adapt to new changes and ideas to improve human capital excellence.”

MAHRP thanked all applicants and supporting partners, especially the judging panel.

The HR Excellence Awards 2023, organised by MAHRP, are designed to appreciate, recognise, and encourage the contributions of HR professionals.

MAHRP said in a statement, that the goal for introducing such an award is to appreciate and reward human resource professionals at two different levels and create a national-level award that is prestigious and widely accepted.

“We aim to recognise their achievements, inspire younger generations to pursue careers in human resource development, and encourage organisations and nations to value the importance of human resources in their success,” the statement read.

MAHRP, a non-profit organisation, is dedicated to driving activities and initiatives that add value to the Human Resources Professional Network across the country. They are committed to making the association an all-inclusive HR Professionals Association, where everyone has the chance to add value and work together to build much-needed human capital excellence within the Maldives.

MAHRP hosts the National HR Convention and Expo annually, which stands as the Maldives’ largest gathering focused on learning and development. Additionally, they host Learning and Development conferences regularly. They also brought the world-renowned service guru Ron Kaufman to the Maldives, along with international speaker and mind power coach Robin Banks, hosting impactful events.
