Jean – Louis Ripoche, Area General Manager, Maldives

Overseeing both Dusit Thani Maldives and dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives, Jean-Louis Ripoche brings years of luxury hospitality experience, including leadership roles at Marriott Maldives. With a sharp eye for innovation and a deep understanding of the industry, he’s shaping the future of both Dusit properties—each with its own unique personality and guest experience. Under his leadership, dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives is set to shake up the scene with its bold, vibrant take on contemporary hospitality, delivering a seamless, all-inclusive escape like no other.

Yogeswaran Veerasamy – General Manager, dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives

Leading the Executive Mavericks is Yogeswaran Veerasamy, a hospitality expert with over 29 years of experience. A native of Malaysia, Yogeswaran has been instrumental in launching nine luxury hotels and spearheading a major refurbishment. His career highlights include leadership roles at The Raffles Resort Maldives, Conrad Manila, Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort, and multiple pre-opening projects for brands such as Hard Rock, W Hotels, Westin, and more. With his expertise and visionary leadership, dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives is on track to become the ultimate destination for limitless, unforgettable experiences.

Ibrahim Rashvan – Executive Assistant Manager (Food & Beverage)

With 22 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Rashvan has worked with renowned brands such as Marriott, Accor, Six Senses, Constance, Taj, and Millennium & Copthorne. His career has taken him across the Maldives, Oman, and the UAE, including five years in Oman, where he refined his expertise in delivering personalized guest experiences. Passionate about crafting unforgettable dining experiences, Rashvan will now lead the resort’s culinary offerings.

Chef Mohamed Adil – Executive Chef

A culinary icon from the Maldives, Chef Adil is among the first Maldivian Executive Chefs to craft the culinary offerings for a pre-opening resort. With 14 years of experience at some of the world’s most prestigious hospitality brands, including Four Seasons, Vakkaru Maldives, Fairmont, Hilton Jeddah, and Waldorf Astoria Jeddah, he has earned the title of Best Maldivian Chef three times. Chef Adil has also proudly represented the Maldives in international culinary competitions across Istanbul, Abu Dhabi, and China. With a deep passion for showcasing Maldivian heritage, he is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of chefs.

Mohamed Mauroof – Cluster Director of Human Resources

A proud Maldivian with over 18 years of expertise in human resources management, Mauroof has been a driving force at Dusit Thani Maldives since 2012. Starting his journey with the resort in various HR roles, he has steadily risen through the ranks to become the HR Director, a testament to his dedication and exceptional leadership. In his current position, he oversees HR operations for both Dusit Thani Maldives and dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives. His efforts not only help attract top talent to the resorts but also play a key role in retaining the best hospitality professionals, ensuring both resorts continue to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Rifaa Ath Saeed – Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing

With over 18 years of experience in hospitality sales and marketing, Rifaa Ath Saeed rejoined Dusit Thani Maldives in early 2024 before stepping into her new role. She initially joined Dusit Thani Maldives, during its pre-opening phase and has since been involved in pre-opening of several high-end resorts. Having worked for resorts such as W Retreat and Spa – Maldives, Kandima Maldives and Movenpick Maldives, her expertise will be key in positioning dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives as a sought-after resort in the Maldives.

Babu Sathar – Cluster Director of Revenue

A seasoned revenue management expert, Babu Sathar has been with Dusit Hotels & Resorts for nearly 12 years, specializing in revenue optimization and pre-opening strategies. Renowned for his analytical mindset and strong leadership skills, Babu plays a key role in maximizing revenue potential for both Dusit Thani Maldives and dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives. Known for his strong leadership and analytical skills, Babu also creates a collaborative environment that motivates his team to achieve excellence, making him a valuable asset to the Dusit Hotels & Resorts family.

Aruna Bandaranayake – Director of Engineering

With more than a decade of engineering leadership experience, Aruna Bandaranayake has been a key figure in several Dusit projects, including Dusit Thani Maldives, Dusit Thani Nepal, and dusitD2 Yarkay Thimphu, Bhutan. His impressive portfolio also includes Jumeirah Vittavelli and Niyama Private Island. Aruna is responsible for overseeing the smooth integration of everything from architecture to eco-friendly innovations. He is now bringing his expertise in sustainability and advanced technology to dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives.
