Visit Maldives partners with TTM 2025 as Destination Partner
Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC) has partnered with Travel Trade Maldives (TTM) 2025 as the official Destination Partner. The B2B travel trade exhibition, held from 27 to 28 August 2025 at Barcelo Nasandhura Maldives, gathered leading global buyers, hoteliers, DMCs, airlines, tour operators, travel media, and other industry stakeholders.
As Destination Partner, Visit Maldives played a key role in promoting the Maldives as a preferred global travel destination across major tourism segments, including luxury, wellness, halal, MICE, eco-tourism, and cultural travel. The partnership provided opportunities to strengthen the Maldives’ presence among international travel trade professionals through on-site branding, digital campaigns, and strategic industry engagement.
Through the TTM Connect platform, more than 3,000 pre-scheduled B2B meetings were facilitated, enabling exhibitors to connect directly with global buyers and partners. Maldivian resorts, hotels, airlines, and service providers presented new experiences, exclusive offers, and innovative products aimed at a wide range of markets. Visit Maldives also held meetings with international operators, DMCs, and travel media to reinforce its presence in both established and emerging markets.
The event will conclude with the TTM Awards & Gala 2025, hosted at Adaaran Select Hudhuranfushi on 28 August. The gala will recognise outstanding contributions to the Maldivian tourism sector, highlighting achievements in service, sustainability, innovation, marketing, and hospitality. The evening will feature cultural performances and music, alongside exclusive networking opportunities for industry leaders, global partners, and media representatives.
Commenting on the partnership, Ibrahim Shiuree, CEO and Managing Director of Visit Maldives, said, “TTM has become the most exclusive platform in the Maldives for the global travel trade to engage directly with Maldivian tourism products. Visit Maldives Corporation is pleased to partner with and support such initiatives, which contribute to strengthening the Maldives’ position as a premium travel destination on the global stage.”
