Pulse Hotels & Resorts appoints Murad Hassan as Chief Commercial Officer

Pulse Hotels & Resorts has appointed Murad Hassan as its new Chief Commercial Officer, strengthening the group’s senior leadership team as it continues to expand its resort portfolio in the Maldives.

In his new role, Murad will be responsible for overseeing the group’s commercial strategy, including sales, marketing, revenue management, distribution, and partnerships across Pulse Hotels & Resorts’ properties and future developments.

Murad brings more than two decades of experience in hospitality, travel and destination marketing. His career spans senior commercial roles with international online travel platforms, Maldivian resort groups and national tourism institutions.

Prior to joining Pulse Hotels & Resorts, Murad held a senior leadership position at Agoda, where he served as Regional Director for Key Accounts in the Asia Pacific region. In this role, he managed strategic partnerships across multiple markets and worked closely with hotel groups on distribution, performance optimisation and market development.

Earlier in his career, Murad served as Director of Business Development at Villa Hotels & Resorts, where he was responsible for sales strategy, commercial planning and brand growth. He has also held roles with Bandos Maldives and the Maldives Tourism Promotion Board, now known as the Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC), contributing to destination marketing and stakeholder engagement efforts.

Pulse Hotels & Resorts is a hospitality development and management company with a growing portfolio in the Maldives. Its properties include Kandima Maldives in Dhaalu Atoll, Nova Maldives, and The Nautilus Maldives, an ultra-luxury private island resort. The company is headquartered in Singapore and operates with a focus on developing and managing resort brands across different market segments.

The group has several projects in its development pipeline and continues to invest in related tourism infrastructure, supporting its long-term growth strategy in the Maldives.

Murad’s appointment comes as Pulse Hotels & Resorts continues to focus on strengthening its commercial performance, expanding its global market reach and aligning its portfolio with evolving travel demand.
