Hulhule Island Hotel marks start of Ramadan with staff, family Iftar gatherings

Hulhule Island Hotel (HIH) marked the beginning of the Holy Month of Ramadan by opening its doors to team members and their families from both Hulhule Island Hotel and its sister company, Maldives Inflight Catering, for special Iftar gatherings during the first three days of Ramadan.

In the spirit of unity, reflection, and togetherness, HIH created a welcoming space where colleagues could break their fast alongside loved ones in a warm and inclusive environment. The initiative reflects the hotel’s continued commitment to fostering a strong sense of community and appreciation across both organisations.

In addition to the Iftar, Taraweeh meals were arranged to accommodate those who were not observing the holy month, while ensuring an inclusive environment for all team members. The initiative was designed to honour the significance of Ramadan while maintaining a supportive and respectful atmosphere for both fasting and non-fasting colleagues from HIH and MIC.

Speaking on the initiative, Ali Shakir, Group General Manager shared, “Ramadan is a time of reflection, gratitude, and unity. At our organisation, we believe our team is our greatest strength. Welcoming our colleagues and their families for Iftar during the first days of Ramadan reflects our commitment to building a workplace culture rooted in respect, inclusivity, and togetherness.”

Hulhule Island Hotel remains dedicated to nurturing a positive and supportive environment for its team members and extended corporate family, while continuing to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences throughout the Holy Month.
