Enric Reina Canitrot is a member of the management team at Barceló Hotel Group, newly appointed as the Deputy General Manager of Barceló Nasandhura Malé. Enric expressed his enthusiasm for this new project, stating that alongside the team, the hotel will become an icon within Malé. He highlighted the significance of Nasandhura being the first luxury hotel in Malé and how the team is excited about creating exceptional experiences for guests and exploring new opportunities for the hotel’s success.

Jenna Gangmei as the Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing. With a career spanning 14 years, Jenna has built a strong foundation in the hospitality industry from her tenure at renowned brands such as Accor, Radisson, and Dusit Thani. In her role, she will be responsible for collaborating with internal teams and external partners to execute comprehensive sales and marketing campaigns, establish strong relationships with key stakeholders, and drive sales initiatives. With her passion for the industry and her ability to connect with people and will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in elevating the hotel’s position in the market and attracting discerning travellers. Her strategic thinking, innovative approach, and in-depth knowledge of the Maldivian hospitality sector will be instrumental in driving the hotel’s success in the competitive urban market.

Tomy Sugeng, appointment as Cluster Director of Finance is notable due to his extensive 30-year career. He has garnered significant experience from various distinguished establishments such as JW Marriott Medan, Le Méridien Jakarta, Aman Resorts Indonesia, Six Senses in Maldives and Bhutan, and Universal Resorts Maldives, among others. His role will be crucial in overseeing financial operations and driving sustainable growth and profitability within the organization. His wealth of experience in the hospitality industry positions him well to contribute effectively to the organization’s strategic financial management and operational excellence.

Mohamed Sunah, a highly esteemed Maldivian professional, brings a rich background to his new role as Cluster Director of Human Resources. With 18 years of dedicated experience in the hospitality sector, including notable positions at Hard Rock Indonesia, Gili Lankanfushi Maldives, Faarufushi Maldives, Lily Beach and Nova Maldives. Sunah is poised to elevate human resource management standards and cultivate a culture of excellence within the organisation. His expertise promises to drive significant advancements in employee engagement and operational efficiency.
