Dusit International appoints new Vice Presidents of Sales and Marketing

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Dusit International has appointed new Vice Presidents to sales and marketing. The global hospitality brand appointed Prachoom Tantiprasertsuk as the Vice President Sales, while Michael Leong was promoted to the post of Vice President Marketing.

Tantiprasertsuk, who has worked for the company since 2015, was the General Manager of Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket Resort, prior to her new appointment.

She earlier worked at other big brands including Peninsula Hotels, Four Seasons Hotels, InterContinental Hotels Group and Anantara. As the new Vice President Sales, Tantiprasertsuk would oversee MICE, Online Travel Agents, Global Sales Offices, and Revenue Management.

Leong was promoted to the post of Vice President Marketing from his previous position as Assistant Vice President of Branding, Loyalty and Digital Marketing.

His new role will have him oversee Branding, Digital Marketing, Reservations, Partnerships, Advertising, and Dusit Gold – the company’s guest loyalty programme. Before joining Dusit International in 2015, Leong worked for Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts as the Vice President of Digital Marketing.

Dusit International currently operates 29 properties worldwide across four distinctive brands: Dusit Thani, dusitD2, DusitPrincess and Dusit Devarana, and has a property in the Maldives.

Dusit Thani Maldives sits amidst the UNESCO Baa Atoll Biosphere Reserve, and is a scenic 35-minute seaplane flight away from Velana International Airport. It offers 94 villas and residences for accommodation including beachfront and ocean villas.
