Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa appoints Afrah Abdulla as Commercial Director
Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa has announced the appointment of Afrah Abdulla as Commercial Director, effective 1st August, 2026. In this role, he will oversee the resort’s commercial department, including revenue management, sales and marketing, while leading strategies that strengthen market positioning, drive sustainable growth and enhance overall business performance.
Afrah brings more than 14 years of luxury hospitality experience, having built a distinguished career across some of the Maldives’ most renowned resorts, including Gili Lankanfushi, Huvafenfushi, Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, The St. Regis Maldives Vommuli Resort and Patina Maldives, Fari Islands.
His expertise spans sales, marketing, reservations, revenue strategy and commercial leadership across both pre-opening and established resort operations. Throughout his career, Afrah has demonstrated a strong ability to build high-performing teams, foster meaningful industry relationships and drive commercial success through collaboration, innovation and data-driven decision-making.
In his new role, Afrah will focus on strengthening relationships with key trade partners, expanding commercial opportunities and delivering integrated strategies across revenue, sales and marketing functions. His appointment further reinforces Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa’s commitment to sustained growth and excellence in one of the world’s most competitive luxury travel markets.
