Hulhule Island Hotel shines at Hotel Asia 2025 with multiple top honours

Hulhule Island Hotel (HIH) has announced its remarkable achievements at the prestigious Hotel Asia Exhibition & International Culinary Challenge 2025, securing multiple top honours across various categories. This year’s competition marking the 25th anniversary of Hotel Asia brought together exceptional culinary talent from across the Maldives and beyond, judged by an esteemed panel of international culinary experts.

HIH’s culinary team delivered an outstanding performance, earning some of the highest accolades of the event, including two of the most coveted titles, Most Outstanding Chef and Top Maldivian Chef, won by Chef Ismail Thahseen.

HIH achieved outstanding success at the 2025 International Culinary Challenge, securing 5 Gold, 4 Silver, 7 Bronze, and 3 Merit Awards across multiple categories. These awards celebrate HIH’s dedication to exceptional culinary standards and its long-standing role as a key gastronomic institution in the Maldives. Notably, HIH has previously been recognised as the Best Culinary Establishment for an impressive 13 consecutive years across various platforms.
