InterContinental Hotels Group announces the return of its Double Points Promotion

“The Double Points promotion is a perfect way for us to reward the most loyal customer not just for the resort but for all the IHG properties around the globe, and they are the IHG® Rewards Club members,” said Joseph Della Gatta, General Manager of Holiday Inn Resort® Kandooma Maldives.
“Such promotion is strategic and beneficial for the resort to drive revenue from our wide array selection of restaurants and bars, adding incremental amount to the overall business of the resort.”
With the Double Points Promotion, loyal guests staying at IHG hotels across Asia Pacific (excluding China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan), Middle East and Africa, can earn points faster for all in-hotel dining and other incidental spending when charged to their rooms.
IHG® Rewards Club members will earn twice as many points for every US$ 1 of incidental spend with a qualifying stay, in addition to the standard 10 points per every US$ 1 spent on qualified rates.
To be eligible for the Double Points promotion, guests must be an IHG® Rewards Club member and will need to register, book and stay during the promotion period. Guests who are not IHG® Rewards Club members can sign up to the award-winning loyalty programme free of charge.
Following the success of the programme over the past two years, IHG® Rewards Club has extended the Double Points promotion to benefit guests staying in any hotel or resort under four IHG brands: InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, and Hotel Indigo.
Holiday Inn Resort® Kandooma Maldives is strongly participating in the programme with the aim of driving revenue not just in rooms but across its several dining outlets and bars. The resort’s Kandooma Café, The Kitchen, Bokkuraa Coffee Club, The Lounge Bar, BARaveli Beach Bar, Pool Bar, and The Bar are covered by the ‘Double the Points, Twice the Joy’ promotion.
