Intranet Maldives to host workshop on Emotional Intelligence

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Intranet Maldives has opened registration for a two-day training programme on Emotional Intelligence (EQ), set to be hosted on December 8 and 9. The workshop is designed for supervisors, executives and managers who have an expressive need to find new ways to achieve mind and emotional balance for effective personal and workplace success, featuring a lecture by Neela Mehan, a celebrated Scholar-Practitioner, according to Intranet Maldives.

This programme features two days of highly active, intellectual and experiential learning based on the model featured in Daniel Goleman’s “Emotional Intelligence” known as the Six Seconds’ EQ model. It is effective for skill development and the application of emotional intelligence paired with a range of operational tools that can be adapted in the professional and personal lives of the individual.

The workshop aims to support participants in developing a framework by which the model can be applied immediately with their colleagues and subordinates by assisting the participants in empathizing, meeting needs, evaluation of progress or patterns, decision-making according to their implications as well as building a firm rapport with the team for peak performance.

The workshop consists of a mix of presentations, role-play activities and using the Integrative Learning System (ILS) approach to internalise the learning of the training. Multiple Intelligences, Interactive Learning and the EQ learning styles are some of the technologies that will be used during the programme, according to Intranet Maldives.
