Jumeirah Vittaveli Launches Apprenticeship Programme

Jumeirah Vittaveli has launched an apprenticeship programme this Friday, 15 November, 2019. The Programme will host 14 students at the resort for a period of eight months where they will be trained in different areas of hotel management and hospitality. At a small function held at Jumeirah Vittaveli to mark the occasion, former president Excellency Maumoon Abdul Gayoom handed over entrance certificates to the participants. Later on, he addressed the gathering, followed by remarks from GM Abhijit Ghosh.

According to Jumeirah Vittaveli, all students who complete the programme successfully will be offered employment opportunities the property and will also have the opportunity to work in sister properties in various other locations.

The Apprenticeship Programme is open for any Maldivian with an O’Level certification and able to successfully pass the assessment conducted by the resort. Jumeirah will be choosing the applications for their next batch of apprentices during the summer of 2020, for entry opportunities in November.
