Kudadoo Maldives Private Island to debut this year with 15 premium indulgence residences
Coming to Lhaviyani Atoll this year, a new adult’s only resort will bring next level exclusivity to the Maldives. Kudadoo Maldives Private Island will claim its own three-hectare island, offering just 15 overwater villas for more privacy and personalised experiences than even the island nation’s most coveted resorts.
Each of Kudadoo’s 13 Ocean Residences of 300 sq. m. and 2 Ocean Residences of 380 sq. m. (two-bedroom) – lagoon-set accommodations – come with a 44 sq. m. infinity plunge pool with expansive overwater deck and a range of seating options. The residences feature round-the-clock butler service, in a contemporary design with Tasmanian oak floors and handmade furnishings. The lower floor of the two-level outdoor lounge space in each residence includes a glass floor and glass dining table to offer unparalleled views of the turquoise waters. Large sliding doors on two sides of the villa allow for a pleasant cross-breeze, creating a tropical ambience. The villas come with a surround sound system, flatscreen satellite TV, IPTV with a range of latest movies, series and TV channels for guests use. Its style fuses subtle simplicity and chic, which are set alongside all the staples of a graceful tropical retreat.
The stunning underwater views of Kudadoo can be enjoyed by plunging into the depths. A dive butler can familiarise you with the atoll’s many dive sites depending on what you want to see. Experienced divers can also choose to hire an underwater scooter to explore sites where currents are strong or rebreathers to get closer to the marine animals.
The large population of manta rays in the surrounding waters made sense for Manta Trust to set up office at nearby Hurawalhi Island Resort.Guests who are interested in discovering more about these gentle giants can take a private speedboat with your own marine biologist to inform and guide you. If you’re not into scuba, you can visit a seagrass bank to spot the wonderful hawksbill and green sea turtles.Surfing and fishing trips can also be arranged by the butlers. If your dream holiday involves a surfboard, then you can visit a secret spot in the south of the atoll. This highly-exclusive location means you’re highly unlikely to be bothered by other surfers. You can also enjoy cooking your own fresh caught fish. A personal chef is provided for this satisfying dining experience.
On-site, guests can also look forward to swimming at the freshwater infinity pool and exercising at the gym. The fitness centre features a private sauna, steam room, Himalayan salt meditation room, and is well-appointed with personal trainers and yoga instructors. Should guests crave a more social scene, the extended facilities at Kudadoo’s sister property Hurawalhi are just a five-minute boat ride away. There, they can make use of football and tennis court; enjoy watersports and paragliding. The Duniye spa provides a truly tropical spa experience focused on wholeness, simplicity, purity and quality. The therapist’s healing energy combined with Asian massage techniques and using only chemical-free, pure organic compounds, follows a natural, holistic, personalised approach to caring for your health, beauty and wellbeing. The Retreat—the overwater gourmet restaurant— serves fresh seafood, prime beef and Asian cuisines.
