Kuramathi Maldives celebrates Earth Week 2025

Kuramathi Maldives has wrapped up Earth Week 2025, held from April 21st to 27th, with a vibrant lineup of activities that brought guests and team members together in celebration of our planet.

With this year’s theme, “Our Power Our Planet,” the resort team engaged children and adults alike in hands-on workshops, educational talks, and eco-friendly adventures—all set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Indian Ocean.

Throughout the week, young explorers at Bageecha Kids Club crafted beautiful wildlife collages and eco-friendly bookmarks, planted trees, and took part in a joyful Earth Day Parade dressed as animals, flowers, and trees.

Meanwhile, adults joined impactful events including the Hydroponic Garden Tour, Turtle and Manta Talks, a Clean-Up Dive, and an inspiring Back of the House tour to see the island’s sustainability efforts in action. Guests and team members also united for a powerful Team Island Clean-Up, reinforcing their shared responsibility in protecting nature.

From the laughter of children learning about water conservation to the passion of divers cleaning up our reefs, Earth Week 2025 was a meaningful reminder that small actions can make a big difference. Kuramathi remains committed to sustainable tourism and nurturing a deep connection between guests and the natural world we call home.
