The Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) announced yesterday that they will be hosting the prestigious Air Service World Congress (ASWC) 2024, marking the first time the event will be held in the Maldives.

A Gathering of Aviation Leaders

This announcement signals a significant development for the Maldivian aviation industry. The ASWC is the world’s largest aviation gathering, connecting airlines and airports from across the globe. The event, traditionally known for fostering collaboration through both formal and informal networking, will see roughly 300 attendees descend upon the idyllic Kurumba Maldives from July 9-11, 2024.

Industry leaders from airports, route development teams, airlines, aviation suppliers, and representatives from tourism headquarters are all expected to participate. Discussions at the congress will focus on shaping the future of the aviation industry.
