Maldives nominated for top honours at Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards 2025

Maldives has been nominated for two prestigious accolades at the Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards 2025, presented by the United Kingdom’s most widely circulated and longest-running travel publication. This year, the Maldives has been shortlisted in the following categories:

• Most Desirable Country – Worldwide
• Most Desirable Island(s) – Worldwide

Widely regarded as one of the travel industry’s most esteemed honours, the Wanderlust Reader Travel Awards are determined entirely by public vote, making them a true reflection of travellers’ preferences and experiences.

In the 2024 edition, Sri Lanka claimed the title of Most Desirable Country – Worldwide, highlighting the enduring appeal of South Asian destinations among British travellers.
