Nova Maldives Appoints New General Manager Abdulla Aboobakuru

Nova Maldives has announced the appointment of Abdulla Aboobakuru as the new General Manager. With over 20 years of luxury hospitality experience, Abdulla will ensure consistent delivery of guest experience based on the Nova concept and brand promise.

Abdulla’s experience in the hospitality field ranges from Finance, Room Divisions and F&B. In his new role, he will manage all aspects of the island resort, bringing motivating leadership style that focuses on achieving results. With his excellent communication skills and strong work ethics, Abdulla aims for excellence, encourage creativity, and vibrant engagement in the work place.

Abdulla’s journey started with Hilton Maldives Rangali Island Resort & Spa. He then spent several years at Huvafen Fushi. Overseeing daily F&B operations and Front Office. He also held the same responsibilities as F&B Operations Manager at Baros Maldives. IN 2017, Abdulla joined Pulse Hotels & Resorts as EAM Rooms and climbed his ladder as Resort Manager after a year at Kandima Maldives.
