One&Only Reethi Rah and Beautiful Eyes team up to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day

One&Only Reethi Rah and Beautiful Eyes Down Syndrome Association joined hands to support children with Down Syndrome on this years’ World Down Syndrome Day, celebrated on March 21, 2019. The resort also launched its ‘Lots of Socks and T-shirts’ campaign with the aim to educate colleagues about Down syndrome, whilst raising donations to support this vital cause.

On March 23, the resort also conducted a range of fun activities at an event for kids in Hulhumalé. These activities included face painting and music sessions. The resort also organised the presence of mascots to inspire and ignite happiness and laughter amongst the children present at the event which was hosted by Beautiful Eyes Association.

Jan Tibaldi, general manager of One&Only Reethi Rah and Maila Severino, Human Resources Director of One&Only Reethi Rah also presented a check to the sum of MVR75000 as a donation to the Beautiful Eyes Association at the event.
