Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort celebrates first anniversary, offers special discounts

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort celebrated its 1st anniversary this week with travel industry professionals and hotel guests.

The celebrations took place from from 30 July to 1 August. The invitees participated in dolphin spotting, relaxed in the Navasana Spa hydro pool, and enjoyed water sports activities.

Hotel guests then joined the invitees for a management cocktail party by the pool, followed by a Maldivian-themed barbecue dinner on the beach with Bodu Beru dances and music.

During the reception, Resort Manager Elza Artiaga shared a thank you message that was shared live on Facebook.

To celebrate its first anniversary, the resort is offering a special half board package that guarantees up to 40 per cent discount on bookings.

Prices start from USD619 (excluding GST and service charge), and are valid for stays until 30 April 2017. The special package can be booked until 30 September 2016.

According to the resort, children below 12 are entitled to stay on complimentary basis and join the parents’ meal plan. They can also participate in the Coral Kids activities and learn how to make pizza or cookies, do facial paintings with nail art and henna tattoos for little girls.

“For children up to two years old, a babysitting service is available for free for up to two hours once during the stay – just the right time for parents to enjoy a sunset cruise or go for a relaxing massage at the Navasana Spa, where all massages are subject to a 20 percent discount if booked in advance along with the 1st anniversary offer,” the resort said.

Non-motorised water sports are available free-of-charge.  Windsurfing, catamaran sailing, kite surfing, and stand-up paddling are on offer. Guests can also enjoy the marine life from a glass-bottomed kayak or go on guided snorkeling trips with the resort’s resident marine biologist. Konotta’s full-time marine biologist will also provide educational talks and information sessions upon request.
