The Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort is now open for bookings
Bookings for the 53-key property went live on Outrigger.com, Outriggermaldives.com and via GDS systems (Outrigger code “OR”) on 2 May, 2015.
Special opening rates are now live for all pool villas, comprising 24 Beach Pool Villas (211 sqm), seven Two-Bedroom Pool Villas (282 sqm), 21 Ocean Pool Villas (225 sqm), and the Presidential Villa (600 sqm).
General Manager Pascal Billon explained that the guest experience at the resort would be based around unique activities that reflect a sense of authenticity. “At Outrigger Maldives we aim to deliver informal luxury and celebrate the destination’s unique culture and sense of place. Educational marine environment experiences on the pristine waters offshore and wonderful Maldivian culinary discoveries onshore await all guests.”
As well as a beautiful selection of villas to choose from, guest can enjoy the resort’s 25-metre pool, the Outrigger Navasana Spa, a fitness centre, reef adventure centre, dive centre, relaxation zone, kids club and boutique shop.
All meals at the Outrigger Maldives will be à-la-carte dining. Fresh and innovative dining will be offered at: Blue Salt (all-day brasserie-style dining), Nala Rah (exclusive interactive teppan grill and raw bar with ocean views), Poolside (creative cuisine and comfort foods with a view), and The Deck (chill out bar). Outrigger will have private beach dining, in-villa dining and innovative theme nights.
Billon emphasised that these culinary experiences will not just be about the food. “All will be offered at a level of service rarely experienced elsewhere in the Maldives,” he said. What’s more, the variety of meal options can be tailored, according to guest preference. “Signature dishes, healthy options and personalised menus for special occasions can be enjoyed in the setting of your choice around the island or on a private boat trip,” he said.
Outrigger Konotta Maldives Resort is located less than 50 kilometres north of the equator in Gaafu Dhaalu atoll. The island is 340 kilometres to the south of Male’ and is conveniently accessible via a 55-minute flight to Kaadedhdhoo Airport, followed by a scenic 20-minute journey on a private yacht.
