Sheraton Maldives Set to Host Festive Artisan Market
Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort and Spa is set to host its first Festive Artisan Market on 22nd December 2022 at Kakuni beach. Local artisans and designers will be able to showcase their products at the market. During the event, guests will be able to explore the products made by local artisans and designers. Additionally, guests can experience Maldivian culture with live performances and local delicacies. Officially starting the festivities, the Tree and Festive Lighting Ceremony will also be held on the same day at the resort.
“The Artisan Market is a distinctive way for guests visiting the resort to celebrate the festive season and enjoy a day of fun and festivities with their family, friends and loved ones. We invite you all to join us at Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort & Spa for the holiday season with this gala celebration of local art and culture,” said Mohamed El Aghoury, General Manager at Sheraton Maldives.
Some of the local artisans set to participate at the market include Oevaali Art Shop, Mula Maldives, Island Bazaar, Island Cultures for paintings by Eagan Badeeu, and Toddy. A range of products from jewelry, accessories, apparel, scarfs, bags and more will be available at the Festive Artisan Market.
