Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas appoints Gordon Drake as new CFO

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas has appointed Gordon Drake as the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. The appointment of Gordon, a qualified chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England and Wales, was made this April.

He joined the Six Senses team with more than 13 years of global hospitality experience in corporate capital markets, financial asset management and risk management as well as the development and implementation of operational and financial strategy.

Prior to his new appointment, Gordon had held several positions at Kingdom Hotels Investments since 2007. He was appointed as chief financial officer and board director in 2009, then later adding head of mergers & acquisitions where he oversaw a multitude of asset transactions in addition to the sale of Fairmont Raffles to Accor.

He had recently also been a board member of the Savoy Hotel in London as well as Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts.

Gordon’s career started with Ernst & Young in London. He worked in the Treasury departments of UK FTSE companies Pearson and Hammerson, and was the Group Treasurer and Corporate Finance Manager at Rocco Forte Hotels.

A British citizen, Gordon holds a B.Sc. Hons in Economics and Accounting from University of Bristol and an AMCT professional qualification with the Association of Corporate Treasurers.

He is based at the Six Senses home office in Bangkok.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
