Siyam World promotes Alee Siyam to Director of Operations, Giselle Encinareal to Executive Assistant Manager

Siyam World Maldives has announced the promotion of Alee Siyam from Executive Assistant Manager to Director of Operations, and Giselle Encinareal from Director of Talent and Culture to Executive Assistant Manager. These promotions highlight the resort’s continued investment in its people and reinforce its commitment to nurturing exceptional leaders who shape the heart and soul of Siyam World.

Giselle has stepped into the role of Executive Assistant Manager, bringing with her over two decades of experience across some of the Maldives’ most notable luxury properties. Since rejoining Sun Siyam in 2022, she has become a cornerstone of the resort’s culture. As Director of Talent and Culture at Siyam World, she championed growth, learning, and care across all teams. In her new position, she will oversee the resort’s Back-of-House pillars including Talent and Culture, Learning and Development, and Quality Assurance. Her thoughtful leadership and passion for people continue to elevate Siyam World’s warm and authentic spirit.

Alee has been appointed Director of Operations, celebrating a remarkable journey that began with Sun Siyam Resorts in 2016. From completing the Management Trainee programme to playing a key role in Siyam World’s pre-opening, Alee has grown through the ranks with focus, humility, and a deep understanding of guest experience. His move into this new role sees him leading the resort’s full operational landscape, guiding teams, enhancing service flow, and shaping memorable experiences with his trademark calm and forward-thinking approach.
