Souvenir Marine named Transport Partner for Hotelier Maldives Awards 2024

Hotelier Maldives, the premier tourism and hospitality publication in the Maldives, has announced the strategic partnership with Souvenir Marine, a trailblazer in the marine transportation sector, as the Transport Partner for the upcoming Hotelier Maldives Awards 2024, presented by Bestbuy Maldives (BBM).

Established in 1994 as a small tourist gift shop in Malé, Souvenir Marine has evolved over the years into a powerhouse of high-speed sea transportation services. With the expansion of its tourist gift shops in 2004, the company seamlessly transitioned into providing top-notch speedboat transportation services. Today, with an impressive fleet of 35 speedboats, Souvenir Marine efficiently transfers a substantial number of tourists, primarily from Velana International Airport and various domestic airports across the Maldives, to resorts while upholding the highest standards of quality and service.

“We are immensely proud to once again choose Souvenir Marine as our Transport Partner for the Hotelier Maldives Awards 2024, presented by BBM. Their commitment to delivering reliable and seamless transportation experiences, as we have seen during our 2023 General Managers (GM) Forum, aligns perfectly with our mission,” Ibrahim Mahudhee, Director of Hotelier Maldives, said.

“As a company deeply rooted in the culture and hospitality of this exquisite nation, we are eager to contribute to the success of this remarkable event,” Amjad Ismail, Managing Director of Souvenir Marine, added.

As the Transport Partner for the Hotelier Maldives Awards 2024, Souvenir Marine will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless transportation of delegates to and from the event venue. Participants can focus on enriching discussions, networking, and forging new partnerships, knowing that their transportation needs are in capable hands.

The Hotelier Maldives Awards 2024, presented by BBM, cover 21 general categories, including housekeeping, engineering, food and beverage, spa and wellness, sales and marketing, and more. Winners are being selected through a combination of public votes and expert evaluations based on performance, achievements, customer feedback, and social responsibility.

Other partners for the event include Ooredoo Maldives, Coca-Cola Maldives, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL), Print Lab Creative and Metalsigns.

Voting for the shortlisted nominees from over 350 entries is now open by April 16 via the Hotelier Maldives website.  The grand announcement of winners will take place at a gala ceremony hosted at the OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi resort on April 25.
