Sun Siyam Iru Veli promotes Mohamed Najah as Resort Manager, Shimhad Ali as Director of Human Resourcs

Sun Siyam Iru Veli has announced two key internal promotions, further strengthening its leadership team with the appointment of Mohamed Najah as Resort Manager and Shimhad Ali as Director of Human Resources.

Najah, who has been with Sun Siyam for nearly a decade, has been instrumental in several milestone projects, including the Olhuveli Romance expansion, the opening of Sun Siyam Pasikudah, and the launch of Siyam World. Since joining Iru Veli in 2023 as Director of Food & Beverage, he quickly advanced to Director of Operations before assuming his current role as Resort Manager.

Known for his strategic mindset and ability to inspire teams, Najah continues to lead operational excellence at Iru Veli, focusing on staff well-being, guest experience, and long-term resort performance.

Meanwhile, Shimhad Ali has been promoted to Director of Human Resources after serving as Human Resources Manager since joining Iru Veli in 2024. His leadership has been central to cultivating a culture of inclusivity and professional growth. With extensive experience across top Maldivian resorts, Shimhad’s approachable management style and focus on empowerment have helped strengthen collaboration and foster a supportive workplace culture.
