Taj Exotica Resort & Spa to host Thai Pavilion pop-up
An adherence to authentic flavours by Taj Exotica Resort & Spa is set to place the highly-revered Thai Pavilion on Maldives’ culinary map. Thai Pavilion will bring Taj’s most exotic cuisines to the Maldives as a pop-up event from August 6-17. The Thai Pavilion was introduced over 25 years ago after intensive cuisine and culture study in the ‘90s.
It was the first Thai restaurant that opened in India, with delectable cuisines and a story that deserves to be showcased. Chef Sheroy Kermani, alongside the prestigious team at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, will work together to bring in a number of Thai delicacies for an unforgettable dining experience.
“Our culinary offerings at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa have been known far and wide with the diversity of our visiting guests. To further enhance this awareness, there could be no better platform other than the acclaimed Thai Pavilion of Mumbai, India, to come to our shores for the very first time and bring some of the most amazing Thai food that the Maldives have to offer,” says Chef Sheroy.
“The best of ingredients have been flown directly from Thailand especially for this pop-up to ensure that our guests savour some of the finest and authentic royal Thai cuisine at our overwater restaurant—Deep End.”
With the pop-up restaurant, guests at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa will be able to indulge in the delectable cuisine in a beautiful setting that will radiate romance with partially al-fresco seating, candlelit tables, an almost continuous gentle sea breeze and a permanent soundtrack of placid waves.
