The Cocoon Collection promotes Suhanthan Kanthasamy as Director of Operations
The Cocoon Collection has appointed Suhanthan Kanthasamy as Director of Operations, strengthening its senior management team as the group continues to expand its portfolio in the Maldives and Zanzibar.
Kanthasamy brings more than 20 years of experience in hospitality and finance to the role. He has been with The Cocoon Collection since 2019, serving in a series of senior finance and corporate leadership positions within the group.
Prior to assuming operational leadership responsibilities, he held roles including Group Director of Finance and Corporate Financial Controller, overseeing financial governance across Cocoon Maldives and You & Me Maldives. His career with the group has spanned both resort-level and corporate functions, providing continuity across finance, compliance, and operations.
Before joining The Cocoon Collection, Kanthasamy worked with Oman Hotels & Tourism Company SAOC for more than eight years, managing finance functions across multiple hotel properties in Oman. He also previously served with Jetwing Hotels in Sri Lanka.
In his new role, Kanthasamy will oversee operations across the Collection’s properties, with responsibility for maintaining service standards, operational consistency, and performance management as the group pursues further growth.
