Public Relations & Marketing Manager – Jumeirah Maldives
Jumeirah Maldives is looking for a PR & marketing manager to join the resort’s sales and marketing team.
Key Duties
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to, creating innovative publicity programs; maximising opportunities for publicity in all media through careful research and targeted editorial pitch plan focused on key feeder markets for both the group and leisure segments; maintaining professional relationships with media to support achieving the goals outlined in the PR plan, including the distribution of targeted media releases, media kits, pitches, and other PR related material; assist in the development and execution of an annual PR plan as an integral part of hotel marketing plan, based on guidelines given in the annual plan instructions, including a PR roadmap, segment strategies, and key PR initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in public relations, journalism, communications or of similar
- A clear understanding in Public Relations as well as at least 2 years working experience in similar role
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English – other languages will be an advantage (Arabic, French or Russian)

Key Duties
Accountable for overall success of all outlets, exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions. Supervises all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, high-quality product is produced. Responsible for guiding and developing staff including direct reports. Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved.
Skills and Qualification
- A minimum of two years of experience as Executive Chef with premium or luxury properties in leisure destinations. Previous experience in Maldives Archipelago in a similar role will be an added advantage.
- High level of understanding verity of international cuisines with proven track of culinary projects corresponding with international trends.
