Villa Travels and China Eastern Airlines sign General Sales Agent Agreement
Villa Travels has announced that it has signed a General Sales Agent (GSA) agreement with China Eastern Airlines Global. The agreement was signed by Villa Travels General Manager Sofwan Mahmood and China Eastern Airlines Singapore General Manager Wayne Wu.
Under the terms of the agreement, Villa Travels will be responsible for representing and promoting China Eastern Airlines’ products and services in Maldives. The agreement is seen as a significant development for both companies, as it will allow China Eastern Airlines to expand its reach in the Maldives market, while providing Villa Travels with access to a wider range of products and services to offer its customers.
China is one of the most important markets for the Maldives tourism industry. It is currently the second largest source of tourists to the Maldives, with over 153,000 Chinese tourists visiting the country so far this year. The signing of the GSA agreement between Villa Travels and China Eastern Airlines is expected to further boost tourism traffic from China to the Maldives.
In a statement, Villa Travels said that the agreement is a testament to the strong support of its valued customers and the dedication of its team members. The company also thanked its customers and team members for being a part of its journey.
China Eastern Airlines relaunched flights to the Maldives in February this year, and now operates daily flights between Shanghai and Malé. The airline offers a variety of services to its passengers, including comfortable seating, in-flight entertainment, and a wide selection of food and beverages.
The signing of the GSA agreement between Villa Travels and China Eastern Airlines is a positive development for both companies and for the Maldives tourism industry as a whole.
