Visit Maldives Corporation launches public beta for Creatoll content platform
Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC) has opened Creatoll, its global content creator platform, for public beta testing, inviting creators and industry stakeholders to engage with the platform ahead of its full release.
Creatoll was first introduced as a dedicated content marketplace designed to connect Maldivian and international creators with tourism partners, brands, and global audiences. The platform enables users to showcase, license, and monetise content that reflects authentic experiences across the Maldives.
Over the past month, Creatoll has undergone internal testing and a limited rollout with a select group of creators, allowing VMC to refine the platform based on user feedback. Updates implemented during this phase include streamlined content uploading, improved navigation, and enhancements to overall user experience.
The public beta phase marks the next step in preparing the platform for full access. VMC is inviting creators, photographers, videographers, and tourism stakeholders to actively test the platform and provide feedback to support its continued development.
“Creatoll is being shaped through the input of its users,” said Ibrahim Shiuree, CEO and Managing Director of Visit Maldives Corporation. “The beta phase allows us to further refine the platform while giving creators early access to explore its features. We encourage participation from across the industry to help build a platform that reflects the needs of both creators and content users.”
The platform currently features curated visual content that captures local culture, nature, and everyday life across the islands. It is designed to evolve as a central space for destination storytelling, supporting both local creators seeking international exposure and visiting creators producing Maldives-focused content.
Creators and stakeholders interested in participating in the beta testing can visit creatoll.com, log in using professional or business credentials, and explore the platform’s features. Participation in the public beta will be limited to the first 30 registrations, ensuring a focused testing environment. Users are encouraged to test content uploads, navigation, and marketplace functions, and provide feedback to support further refinements ahead of the full public launch.
