Visit Maldives reopens Landmark Design Competition with extended deadlines
The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives) has announced the reopening of its Landmark Design Competition. This initiative offers aspiring local artists a platform to showcase their creativity.
The competition has been reopened with an extended deadline to encourage maximum participation, giving artists more time to conceptualise and submit their designs. To support participants and address their queries, MMPRC will host an information session on 17th February 2025 at 2 PM. The session will be accessible both online and in person and will provide detailed insights into the competition’s objectives, judging criteria, and submission process.
Interested participants must register for the information session by 15th February 2025 at 6 PM by emailing contest@visitmaldives.com with their name, national ID card details, address, contact number, and email address. The deadline for submitting designs is 28th February 2025 at 6 PM.
MMPRC is looking for designs that reflect the essence of the Maldives, highlighting its rich heritage, vibrant culture, and stunning natural beauty. Winning designs will be showcased in iconic locations across the country, including Velana International Airport, Male’ City, underwater sites, and scenic islands beyond the Greater Male’ area.
